These following terms and conditions apply to all affiliate applicants.

By participating in the program, you agree to use the program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorised to register as an affiliate.

1. Approve or Reject of the Registration

Rutlands^® reserves the right to approve or reject any registration for our affiliate program.

2. Affiliate Links

An affiliate link is a unique web address that tracks clicks and sales referred by a specific user, also known as an affiliate. A unique affiliate link is assigned to all successful applicants upon approval.

Affiliates are encouraged to share their affiliate link on all social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc, as well as other channels such as forums, groups, magazines etc.

An affiliate will earn a commission for every successful sale via an affiliate link. If a customer clicks on someone else’s affiliate link and then later they click on yours, you will receive the commission for that sale. Affiliates may also be assigned a unique discount code at any time. If a customer clicks on your affiliate link and uses your unique discount code, you will not receive a double commission.

3. Commissions & Payment

To become an affiliate, you must have a PayPal account.

All successful sales made via an affiliate link will earn a commission. The commission value is calculated as a percentage of the total order value, excluding shipping costs.

For an affiliate to receive commission, all affiliates will need to register their PayPal details within the payment section of the affiliate dashboard settings. The payment schedule will be displayed in your affiliate dashboard.

Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not receive commission. All commission payments for each order will be approved for payment after the 30 day returns window has passed (conditions subject to returns policy). All payments will be made on the 25th of the month, once the 30 day window has passed.

Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy. Rutlands^® reserves the right to review each and every referral order. *Affiliates will not recieve commission for personal orders made via their own affiliate link.

4. Promotional Materials

Rutlands^® may share promotional media such as products images, videos, logos or graphics for affiliates to use in their promotional campaigns. All promotional materials can be downloaded from the affiliate dashboard.

5. Cookies

Affiliate links rely on cookies to track a customer's journey from clicking on the affiliate's link to making a purchase on rutlands.com.  If a customer does not allow cookies or clears their cookies before purchasing, the sale cannot be tracked, and the affiliate will not earn a commission for that specific sale.

Cookies are valid for 14 days. Tracking will start from the moment a customer clicks on an affiliate link. Within the 14-day cookie period, every order made by this customer will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate.

6. Content Approval

To ensure brand alignment and campaign quality, content by new affiliates (including video reviews, social media posts, and other marketing materials) must be submitted for prior approval to affiliates@rutlands.com before it is published. Rutlands^®  reserves the right to request removal, modifications or reject any content that we deem inconsistent with our brand messaging, target audience, or overall marketing strategy.

Rutlands^® may choose to utilise approved affiliate content on our own marketing channels, with proper attribution to the affiliate, to further promote our products or services.

7. Removal from Referral Program

Rutlands^® reserves the right to remove any affiliate from our affiliate program at any time.

If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can do so by contacting: affiliates@rutlands.com.

This Privacy Policy of UpPromote about Affiliate Marketing system describes how we may collect and use personal data and the rights granted to merchants, affiliates and customers regarding their respective data.

By joining the Affiliate program, you signify your approval of the terms set out in this Privacy Policy, and other terms and conditions. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must not use the affiliate marketing system.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our privacy practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. By continuing to our affiliate program after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy.

Personal Information Controller

Any personal information provided to or gathered by UpPromote under this Privacy Notice will be stored and controlled by UpPromote (the data controller).

Information collected from Merchants

When merchant uses the app, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account such as email, first name, last name, shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address …). We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, provide you with advertising and marketing activities.

Information collected from Affiliates

When an Affiliate signs up to join a program, we collect some information to inform merchants such as email, personal information, payment details and social network information,...The information would help merchant evaluate affiliate background and potential, along with process specific activities within the app and contact affiliate if needed.

Information collected from Customers when visiting merchant website

In order to track referral order, when customers visit merchant website and make a purchase, UpPromote system will collect information of order such as total order, order items, order ID,....

About Cookies

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.

Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Information sharing

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who we employ to process specific functions; examples include providing email marketing activity, analyzing data and other marketing support,... Third-party service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose your personal information to any third party with your prior consent.

Use of UpPromote app by Children

UpPromote is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the affiliate marketing system only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.

Your Rights

UpPromote understands that you have rights over your personal information, and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. If you are using the system and wish to exercise these right, please contact us through affiliates@rutlands.com. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.

If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
